Description: I love harbours and marinas and could spend just hours wandering around, breathing in that salty atmosphere and admiring those, oh-so sleek yachts.
Here are some of my favourite locations along the south coats of France.
Cassis
A small sea-side town near Marseille. Cassis is well known as it is the gateway to the Calanques, a strip of rugged limestone coast with long narrow inlets almost like small fjords carved out of the rock. The sea in this area is an idyllic clear turquoise! We spent a very relaxing few days seeing the sites and basking on the rocks by the sea.
